Tune in
4:27 PMMany times you have to choose between listening to your heart and doing what you think will be acceptable to the rest of the world. Doing the "acceptable" thing seems like the right way to win the world..to create a happy life...but if acceptable doesn't match up with how your inner heart is guiding you, then you'll feel like you're losing a little bit of that every time you silence that voice. It may be enough that you can hardly even hear your inner voice at all..maybe you even lose it for a while....you lose you for a while....and then that happy life that you thought you were making somehow doesn't feel quite right and you're still left wanting..searching...The good thing though about that voice, is that if your tap into it, it will always be there. It's you. And the more you listen, the louder it starts to get. In fact, it gets so loud that it's starts to drown out those voices and opinions that you so readily used to accept. Keep listening because that voice is the voice that opens up all the doors. All those things you're interested in, you think are cool..those things you're drawn are not there for no reason..many times they lead to a greater path for you. All those desires, whatever it is you want to do...many of us have ourselves neatly kept inside little boxes with labels.. I know I do that to myself.. I say "I can't do that, I'm not a ....fill in the blank.".. And then I shrug my shoulders and the moment passes...I don't explore the thing, I just stay where I'm at, doing what's "normal for me". But lately I've been tuning into "me" again and I just want to say fuck that real quick. Sorry for anyone who's not comfortable with that language, but seriously, fuck that. We are all as great as the dreams we have inside and if you want something or want to be something or try something, there's no one who should be able to tell you that you shouldn't. (Within reason of course, if you feel called to murder people or something, please don't. Thanks) But really...its way to easy to put limits on ourselves..and especially with social media where it's soo easy to gauge if what we just did or thought just now was "right" by the number of likes.
No, no, no, no. We are limitless! Our souls were meant to be free. Don't get tied down by "supposed to!"
I hope everyone's having a wonderful week!
Peace and Love
